Terms of use

These terms apply to the Lexikros game on Android, iPhone and iPad, by Dashcode Agency in Tirana, Albania (“we”). By playing Lexikros you accept them.

The game

Lexikros is free, with ads. We keep adding and improving crosswords, clues and levels, and we may change or remove parts of the game. We try to keep the game working at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example during updates.

Your account

The game creates an anonymous account by itself; you can link it to Google or Apple to keep your progress on every device. Without that link, your progress can’t be recovered if you lose your device or uninstall the app. You can delete your account at any time (Delete your account); deleting it can’t be undone.

Nickname and behaviour

Your nickname appears on the leaderboards and to the players you play with. Don’t choose a nickname that is offensive, pretends to be someone else, or contains other people’s personal data. Players can report such a nickname, and we may hide it.

Fair play

Don’t cheat: don’t use programs that solve the crosswords, don’t alter times or results, don’t exploit bugs in the game and don’t flood the server with requests. The server checks results and may refuse them. Players who break these rules may be removed from the leaderboards, have their play limited or their account closed.

Lexikros Plus

Lexikros Plus is a monthly or yearly subscription paid through Google Play or the App Store, at the price the store shows. It renews by itself until you cancel it in the store; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. When the store offers a free trial, it turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Refunds follow the rules of Google Play or the App Store. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.

Helpers

The helpers in the game (checks, letters and revealed words) have no money value and can’t be sold or exchanged.

Content

The crosswords, clues, the Lexikros name, the logo and the look of the game are ours. You may use them to enjoy the game, but not copy, share or collect them with programs. When you report a clue, we may use the report to improve the game.

Liability

The game is provided as it is. We try to keep the clues right, but they may sometimes contain mistakes: please report them. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage from using the game. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights consumer protection law gives you.

Changes and law

When we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Albania.
